Professional HVAC/Air Balancing Workshop - FREE

This course will discuss quality installation of high efficiency heating and cooling systems, with the goal of increasing base knowledge of HVAC systems through practical application. Accompanying on-site training sessions at 3 to 5 residential homes will be scheduled during the weeks following classroom training (required for Certificate of Completion).
Topics include - Proper installation techniques; Equipment sizing and selection; Load calculations; Balancing; Commissioning of the Heating and Cooling system; Duct insulation and performance testing; Mechanical tests for energy performance; Combustion efficiency and safety; and Carbon monoxide testing.
Audience - Heating & Cooling Contractors
Outcome - Solid knowledge of how to assess, diagnose, install and adjust Heating & Cooling systems to maximize their efficiency. Certificate of completion of course & passed test.

Ready to improve your home's energy efficiency? Presented by Cenergy, this workshop teaches how to save money, maintain efficient HVAC systems, improve indoor air quality and make informed decisions when purchasing a new system. 3 to 5 attendees will also receive a Free Home Energy Analysis performed by professional-session attendees and Cenergy. Homeowners, realtors, appraisers and lenders are encouraged to attend. This course will discuss the house as a system. Accompanying on-site sessions on HVAC maintenance will be scheduled in conjunction with the workshop (HVAC manual included)..
Topics include - Building performance: Energy efficiency: Indoor air quality: Health & safety: and Building durability, sustainability, and comfort.
Audience - Homeowners, community and neighborhood groups, realtors, lenders, appraisers, municipal staff and policy makers.
