| Position Summary |
COSC is Iowa’s trusted educational resource for sustainable building and seeks capable go-getter to assist with the launch of new website. This position presents opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Learning about a respected local non-profit and Iowa’s green building industry
- Working with knowledgeable staff and design company in launching of a new robust and information-rich website
- Researching, coordinating, writing, editing and updating content
- Producing member profile/case study stories
- Coordinating feature content such as “Ask the Expert” videos and messaging, and a Sustainable Resource Directory search tool
- Managing and improving social media strategies
- Marketing strategies for website, programs and memberships

| Qualifications and Skills Preferred: |
- Experience and/or education in one of the following areas: communications, journalism, marketing or public/media relations.
- Excellent written and interactive communications skills
- Strong computer skills, proficiency with Macintosh computers
- Organized, creative thinker
- Ability to be flexible, positive, take initiative, and demonstrate good judgment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow-through on tasks and projects
