Home Matters Workshops: Your Home. Your Comfort. Your Cost.

COSC, in partnership with their Builder Advisory Council and Metro Waste Authority, will present two evening workshops on critical topics for homeowners – Energy & Water Management.

Workshops will be led by:

David Hade, Dave Fish, Paris Boehm, Silas Hoeppner, & Bill McAnally,

all experts in their sector of the Green Building Marketplace.

These topics tie directly to COSC’s online Home Matters resource.

Workshop 1: Home Energy Matters – April 13th, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.

The workshop will focus on:

  • Goals (comfort, savings, energy conservation)
  • Pre-inspection
  • Calculations and Numbers
  • Various areas of the home
  • Equipment
  • Post-testing

Workshop 2: Home Water Management – April 20th, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.

The workshop will focus on:

  • The causes of water problems
  • Roof, window and door flashing
  • The foundation
  • The exterior grade
  • Collecting water.

Cost per Workshop: $10 for Member, $20 for Non-Members
